What in the world is thumping? Now get your mind out of the gutter. That‘s not what I mean. Thumping is a fun technique to add a marbling look to your images. We focused on it at our monthly technique class this month. Remember this card from the Non-Convention-Goers Swap I did? Thumping. All the girls loved it so I featured it in our class.
Here’s the second card we did. I think Pumpkin Pie is one of my favorite colors. We thumped the orange slices with Dusty Durango to give them depth and marbling. This card was inspired by a lemon card I saw on SCS. Isn’t it a great layout?!
And don’t forget to decorate/embellish the inside! I stamped some oranges a few times on a diagonal down the left side.
